About Our Laser Cutting Products

Laser cutting machines runs 5 times the speed of a CNC machine, as well as giving a beautifully finished edge with perfect accuracy & very intricate detail, where required.

Type of material that we can laser cut & engrave:

  • Cardboard
  • Wood (most commonly Supawood (MDF) but can experiment on other wood types
  • Perspex/Acrylic
  • Fabrics (testing of the fabric is required before we can confirm type)
  • Leather

Type of materials we DO NOT CUT:

  • PVC
  • Metal
  • Glass

Materials we can ONLY ENGRAVE ON:

  • Certain Metals
  • Glass
  • Mirror

LIMITATIONS:

The maximum size that we can cut is 995mm x 595mm and 10mm in thickness.

Artwork specifications:

We require artwork in any of the following Vector formats:
AI – Adobe Illustrator
PDF – Acrobat
Fonts specified as well as font size

If items you are requesting has no graphic design, we NEED TO MAKE up a proto-type in order to quote and sign off on the items.

We charge R250 for the development of proto-types, R150 of which we waver if you place an order for that product. If you have an existing design, we require it in either CDR (Coral Draw) or Vector as above. In this case we can quote on the items with no fee required.

Terms & Conditions:

50% deposit required on placement of order and 50% on completion of order. Deliveries can be quoted on request. We do not have a standard pricelist as each customer’s order is personalized.
